It sounds a bit like a device you
might see advertised on late night television-- Lifeline 100.
Might even be a new hospital reality show. But it is anything but
that.
Now in it's fifth year, Lifeline 100 is the brainchild of Bike AAA
and Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks Department. It is a
100 mile bike ride that covers all corners of the county. But for
those (me) not even close to being in shape to ride 100 miles,
there are shorter routes--60 miles, 30 miles, 15 miles, and for the
kids a bike rodeo! It is a fundraiser for several non-profits and
many local businesses get in on the game.
This week we speak with Colleen Joseph from the Recreation and
Parks Department and get the scoop. Won't you join me on
Sunday, October 7th for Lifeline 100?
