In this episode of The Maryland Crabs, John and Tim sit down to
talk to Robert Eades who is a community activist, a product of
public housing in Annapolis, and has some solid ideas on how to get
control of the crime problem in the City. He is a fixture at City
Hall where they only give him 3 minutes to speak. We gave him an
hour!
We hear about rival drug dealers from other cities making Annapolis
their home base, the slow decimation of any social programs that
enabled people to move up from public housing, to the best way the
police can easily make the biggest difference.
In this episode, Eades names names and pulls no punches.
Our discussion of this will continue next week when we speak with a
resident that is not in public housing, but lives on the fringe of
it and attempts to raise a family while dodging bullets.
