After 13 years of the same school, when graduation finally rolls around, you are ready to just get the heck out.
In this episode, The Maryland Crabs talk to two graduating seniors in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools to dish the dirt on their experiences over the past 13 years!
Ellie Pline is a graduate of Annapolis High School and is headed off to the University of Maryland in the fall. She offers one of the best tips for students to survive and thrive. At UMD, Ellie will be studying Music Education.(Sorry for the audio quality--we were at Bean Rush Cafe which is amazing, if not a bit too noisy--lesson learned, eat there first and then go someplace quieter to record)
Will Shartzer graduated from Southern High School and is off to Happy Valley and Penn State University in the fall. Will is the first member of his family to graduate high school, operates three fruit & vegetable stands with his grandfather, will be majoring in International Relations, and without a doubt will be appearing on an election ballot in the near future.
Both Ellie and Will discuss their experiences in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools from K to Graduation and what today's student needs to do to come out ahead of the game!
