Ignite Annapolis is here. Well, not quite yet, but it is coming
up on Thursday, March 14th. Go mark your calendars now!
Ignite is a community building program that puts 16 people on the
hot spot for 5 minutes. They develop a topic for which they have
some passion--from silly to mundane to highly technical to comedic
to ... well you get the picture. Virtually anything. They develop
20 slides to illustrate their topic. And then Ignite gives them 5
minutes to explain it all and the slides are pre timed. The event
will leave you scratching your head. Crying. Laughing. Thinking.
But most importantly, it will leave you talking. Talking with your
neighbors and some of the 600 people that shared the
experience.
This week, we sat down with Liz Thibodeau and Kathleen Booth who
are two of the organizers for Ignite 4. We talk about the concept,
its growth, the way it builds community and how to become involved
as an attendee, speaker, or sponsor!
If you need a break (and don't we all), this is a perfect way to
press a reset button on the winter-doldrums. Have a
listen!
